 The Wharton Soccer Club
of Wharton, NJ is a
non-profit organization run strictly by community volunteers to promote
growth in Wharton's youth from ages 6-17 through support and organization in
the sport of soccer.
The Wharton Wolves' Fall season starts the first Saturday after Labor Day
with an opening day ceremony and introduction of teams. The season runs for
10 weeks and teams are created in 6 age groups: age 6 in Division E, age 7
in Division D, 8&9 in Division C, 10&11 in Division B, 12-13 in Division A
and 14-17 in Division AA. The Wolves play in the Rockaway Valley Soccer
League (RVSL).
At the conclusion of our Fall season, our awards ceremony is held in
November where the families of our team players are invited to share in the
celebration.
The Wolves
also participate in a Spring RVSL season which runs from April through June.
The Club also participates in travel soccer, in both Spring and Fall, with
several teams playing in the Morris County Youth Soccer Association league.
