F License Class

As part of the Rockaway Valley League, coaches of recreation teams need to be Rutgers Certified as well as attend a league specific course.  Our travel coaches require both a Rutgers Certification and also need to attain an F license.  Anyone planning to coach or assist one of our travel teams this fall or in future should consider obtaining an F license when an opportunity arises as courses fill-up at a fast pace and may require a level of travel.

To assist in this process, Christa Racine, head coach at Drew, has agreed to do an F license course on Aug 22/23 at Drew. This will run Friday night 6:30-9:00, and Saturday 8-2.  The course cost is $30 per student and the club will reimburse Wharton candidates.  There is no testing requirement for this course, but they usually ask for volunteers for practice sessions.  Course must be opened up to the general public beyond Wharton Club as it is sanctioned by New Jersey
Youth Soccer Association.  In light of this, please get names in
quickly as space is limited.

Fall 2008 Registration

For your convenience, you can register for the Fall 2008 season online or through the mail.

Registration fee was $35 per child prior to June 21st, 2008.  The registration fee for late submissions is $50 per child.

RED BULLS TICKETS 2008 Season

The Wharton Soccer Club is pleased to offer its members the benefits of the Red Bulls Student of the Game (SOG) partnership.  

 

In addition to a player appearance and clinic later in the summer, we also have reduced rate tickets for three games.

1) RED BULLS Opening Day; Saturday, April 5, 7:30 p.m.

2) The BECKHAM Game: Saturday, July 19, 6:30p.m.

3) WSC Day at the RED BULLS: Saturday, Sept. 27 VS. Colorado Rapids

Flight Champions!

Four In A Row for Wolves!

Wharton Wolves U14 team captured their fourth flight in a row Sunday at Newark Academy with a 4-1 win over SMC United.  They finish their travel career before high school with just one loss over a 48 game stretch.  This run also included a winter indoor title in Randolph in April.  Much thanks to a great group of players and parents who all played their part during a wonderful run of success.  

 

Rebels Capture Flight!

Wharton Rebels U10 team captured their flight on Sunday, at home, with a 2-1 win over Stateliner.  They finished the season with 9 wins and 1 loss.  Congrats to everyone involved in a great season.
