The Wharton Soccer
Club is pleased to announce that once again we will be sponsoring a soccer
camp this summer from JULY 9-13. The camp will be under the direction of
Christa Racine,
head women’s soccer coach at Drew University. The important details about
the camp are listed below. You will need to return the registration form and
the required fee to the Wharton Soccer Club prior to July 1st in order for
your child to participate. All participants will receive a camp T-shirt.
Note the Price rollback to 2001 levels!
FOR BOYS AND GIRLS AGES 4-12
The focus of this camp is on beginning and intermediate players. While many
camps exist for more accomplished players, the Wharton Camp is a perfect
opportunity for the beginning player or the novice who is thinking maybe the
sport of soccer, “the beautiful game,” is for them. Christa has over 20
years of coaching experience at all age levels—from pre-school to
collegiate, and understands the needs and issues of the beginning player.
The camp is open to residents of Wharton and non-Wharton residents if there
is still room available. If an out-of-town family member of a Wharton
resident wishes to participate, that is permitted.
CAMP DIRECTOR:
Christa Racine, Head Women’s Soccer Coach, Drew University; staff will
be drawn from her assistant coaches, her players and other area coaches, as
necessary
DATE/TIME: July 9-13; 9:00am-12:00pm
LOCATION: Robert Street Park
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Proper soccer shoes, shinguards, water bottle
DEADLINE: Before July 1, 2012
FEE: $80.00 for the first child, $70.00 for each subsequent child
